A broken heart can kill like an army
Love can feel like a war
You head in strong, but when you return
You're not like you were before
We run from things we don't understand
Questions things we know well
Instead of chasing chances that pass by
We stare at the place that they fell

Can we go down to the river, send our fears a way
Bid them farewell, at least for a day

I don't know why, some people they think
It's their place to fight
